ADVENTURELAND

We made a trip to Adventureland when Jacob and Jordan were here.  It was a perfect Friday to go, 70 degrees and hardly anyone was at the park, in fact at one point the 6 of us were the only ones on the bumper cars!! It was a fun day , even warm enough to brave the water rides~poor Hailey got stuck at the front of the log flume ride and got SOAKED!! Love spending time with these kiddos!

Family Day

Bruce, Reen and the kids came from Texas last week and we all got together on Sunday.  Tony and Jonah were out of town for basketball and Dad wasn't here , but other than that, we were pretty much here!  Love my family and the time we get to spend together!

Hard to believe that our old neighbor friends are graduating this year.  It has been so much fun watching these kids grow into such amazing young people!  Seems like only yesterday they were running around the neighborhood chasing each other! Such amazing memories I have of those days together.

Jonah's 7 year old perception of his Mom

In honor of Mother's Day which is this Sunday I could not resist posting one of my favorite Mother's day gifts from Jonah.  He was in the 1st grade and made this book for me at school.

And for fun who could resist shopping for groceries, I mean come on THAT is a blast! Look at me pushing that grocery cart like a pro!

Jonah does know me too well, to know that yes chocolate is 1 of my favorites and NO i do not like mushrooms!

I do like the thought of a nice, sporty convertible.

The world through a 7 year olds point of view!!  I love it-- still makes me smile all these years later!!

Wonder what gift I will recieve from my boys for Mother's Day this year?  Nothing beats those handmade gifts from my babies!! 

Is Spring finally here?

It sure felt like a spring day finally!!  We spent the day watching Bode at the soccer field and then came home and J & J played some basketball.  Dodger and I went on 2 walks, just couldn't get enough of this gorgeous day!!!  Hope the nice weather is here to stay!!

Jonah was trying to avenge his loss from last weekend to earn back the $5 bucks he lost to Jensen!  He succeeded by winning 21-20!!
