Livin' La Vida Loca

On our last day in Cancun we went on an all day excursion on a Catamaran--or booze cruise.  It was fun and so beautiful!

Cheers to a good time!

Now here is where the crazy part comes in--I went snorkeling!!!  Kind of a big deal for me since I am not crazy about water and like to know that I can touch the bottom.  It was a neat experience, but i can't say I wasn't a bit freaked out!

Here are TOny , Jennie and myself when we are waiting to get back onto the boat.  Stevie was scared or something and didn't want to go, so he was the photographer! LOL!

When we got back on the Catamaran, some European guy shimmied out of his Speedo and hung it up right by us to air dry--Thanks dude!!

Next we docked so we could do some shopping--I picked out a lovely coral and silver necklace, and mean Tony wouldn't shell out the 7,700 pesos or equivalent of about $600 to buy it for me.  Boo!

We then made a stop at an island for a buffet lunch and some time to hang out on the beach.

Steve thought this was the perfect opportunity for a nap!

Love the color of the water--so blue and clear!

As the sun started to go down, we made our way back and the crew came out in some crazy costumes and demanded everyone do a shot or they were going overboard.  Here are Steve and Tony doing theirs!

What a fun day!  We made it back to the resort and went to the Italian Restraunt-Portofino that night--Delish!!

My last slushy  pina colada on the morning we left.....sad face...

What a wonderful trip it was to celebrate being married to 20 years to my best bud!!

We almost had a crisis though as the housekeeping staff mistakenly took my pillow out of the room on the 2nd day there, not knowing it was mine.  They were so wonderful to give me hotel credit and called me several times each day to assure me they were still looking for it.  On the last night we were there, i recieved a phone call telling me that they thought they had located it and could they bring it up to the room for me to verify that it was mine.   IT WAS and I slept so much better that night knowing that me and my pillow were reunited!  LOL!!   Tony was mortified and was hoping it was gone forever!!  So thank you Silversands for the awesome vacation, wonderful memories and being so diligent in making sure your customers are happy!  BIG BIG Thanks for Steve and Jennie for coming with us and sharing in the fun!!  Love you guys and Jennie thanks for being such a trooper . I know how hard the 1st few months of pregnancy are and you were a rock star !!  The girl is tough!   Adios Cancun!!!
